- Bold all of the following TV shows of which you've watched 3 or more episodes.
- Italicize and bold a show if you're positive you've seen every episode.
- Asterisk * if you have at least one full series/season on tape or DVD.
- If you want, add up to 3 additional shows (keep the list in alphabetical order).

Note from Felicia: This is by no means a complete and comprehensive list (it's just for fun, right?). I've included both my and Geo's DVD collection, and a lot of these things, while I might not have watched them, I'm fairly sure that they are in our collection somewhere--especially the classic TV stuff (like I Love Lucy). Seriously, if you ever come to our house, you'll see that our TV and movie collection rivals the local library. That's what happens when you marry a film archivist.

Todd Stashwick is too busy guesting on my other shows to guest on SPN as the 'shifter in Purgatory.

Tonight he played a scarily demented druglord on "Revolution" (which, tonight's ep was pretty good, in that it kept my attention with the main storyline. I still haven't decided how I feel about the weekly flashbacks revealing a different character, though. It seems very . . . "Lost." And I only saw one ep of that show).

So we have Stashwick playing a homicidal shapeshifter on SPN, a thieving, homicidal conspirator on H50, and a scary homicidal druglord on Revolution. I'm sensing a pattern. Though his character on SPN had a comedically fun aspect, which was definitely missing from these other roles. Did I mention he was pretty darn scary tonight? (It's also odd to see him in color.)

Not SPN related.

I'll pause to give you a moment to recover.

You ready?

Okay.

Geo and I have added two shows to our viewing schedule this season: Revolution and Arrow

So. Apparently H50 is where SPN alumn end up. Todd Stashwick (aka Dracular in "Monster Movie") and Julie McNiven (aka Anna the angel) were both in Monday's ep of H50. Interestingly, they both killed someone. Also, the actress who played Carmen in WIaWSNB is a semi-regular (whom I like a lot better than the blonde chick they had last season).

Was surfing around to give my brain a break, and I found an interesting interview with Alona Tal. Don't know if I want to check out her new show or not, but why I really wanted to post this was because of the photo at the end of the article. It's been a long time since I've seen a photo of a contemporary actress that so strongly said, "Classic Hollywood" to me. Just, wow.

Just FYI

How I love you.

How I love your characters.

How I love your family dynamic.

How I love your team dynamic.

You are fantastic show.

Hey, Don? Call me sometime.

So. While we were in California, walking around Hollywood, Geo spotted a huge side-of-a-building type ad for the new NBC show Grimm. He pointed it out to me and asked, "Does that look familiar?" I wasn't really paying attention and just kind of shrugged, what with all the modern re-tellings of fairytales that seem to be all the rage. Then he says, "Is that a rip-off of Supernatural or what." I looked at it a little bit closer--two guys investigating urban legends fairy tales come to life. Um, yeah. It does, actually.

I just watched the lengthy promo trailer on the official site. It actually looks like it could be intriguing. Why? Because it's like CSI Meets SPN. Two of my favorite shows in one. Kinda.

But SPN has one thing Grimm does not.

Jensen Ackles.

'Nough said.

:-)

Season premiere of H50.

I believe the proper term is Oh. Em. Gee.

I'm one big spasmy flail.

I feel like a muppet.

Tonight is the season premiere of H50, which Geo has been looking forward to. Friday is the SPN season premiere, which I have been looking forward to.

The weather is cooling off. Fall is definitely on the way.

We had waffles made with Geo's new waffle maker for breakfast on Saturday. Very tasty indeed.

Then we had a delightful time for Geo's b-day open house. I made (from scratch) a strawberry cake with cream cheese coconut frosting, and Geo made vanilla ice cream.

Should probably go start supper now.

. . . I've actually watched an episode of Tru Blood, so I can say whether or not I liked it.

WARNING: My review is going behind the cut due to mentions of "adult" content. I'm not going to get overly graphic, but since I have no idea how many underaged readers I have, I feel compelled to put this warning on here.

So, this is why Raelle Tucker left SPN? )

Well, huh.

So. I just got done watching the first two eps of Friends With Benefits on-line.

Geo got a hold of for cheap the 2 seasons of Mag7.

Saw a name in the production credits I thought I recognized.

"Wait. Go back," says I. So Geo rewinds.

"Right there."

Production Designer: Jerry Wanek.

"He's the set production designer on Supernatural," says I. "He and his team come up with all the hotel rooms."

Apropos to nothing . . .  )

So. Last night (May 9) George introduced a screening of These Amazing Shadows at the AFI Silver Theatre in Silver Springs, MD. We did not get back in time to watch H50. Instead, we went out with one of Geo's associates and her husband to an Irish pub. Now, you know me and Irish pubs. I'm not gonna say no. Irish boxty and Irish coffee. Delightful way to finish out the evening.

So I downloaded this morning.

Slight show squee behind cut )

I have every intention of writing my long and rambly for SPN. There is much to write about. And apparently, I feel the need to defend Dean, because I'm reading stuff around that's totally missing the point of his character.

Do I really need to remind you how much I love these guys? Or would that be redundant?
