SPN alumn in Hawaii

So. Apparently H50 is where SPN alumn end up. Todd Stashwick (aka Dracular in "Monster Movie") and Julie McNiven (aka Anna the angel) were both in Monday's ep of H50. Interestingly, they both killed someone. Also, the actress who played Carmen in WIaWSNB is a semi-regular (whom I like a lot better than the blonde chick they had last season).

Julie was in this ep? Is it, one, not the torture-fest that the first few eps of S1 were, and two, something I can follow without having seen more than those first few eps of S1?

Julie really wasn't in the ep a whole lot. She was kind of a peripheral character/family of the victim type role.

This ep is a stand-alone. They make mention of the season's arc, but it's not part of the ep. So, in short, yeah, you should be able to watch this ep no problem.

That's all I have to say, really. Except that I saw her at VanCon and she was one of the highlights. I'm thrilled to hear she's getting work. (She mentioned that one reason she appreciated the role of Anna was because she got to do combat for the first time. Did she get to do action-y things in H50, too?)

Can't say that Todd looked good, though admittedly, his character wasn't supposed to. I knew he looked familiar, but it was really his voice that made me go, "Hey, wait a minute . . . "
