"Shadows" in Silver Springs

So. Last night (May 9) George introduced a screening of These Amazing Shadows at the AFI Silver Theatre in Silver Springs, MD. We did not get back in time to watch H50. Instead, we went out with one of Geo's associates and her husband to an Irish pub. Now, you know me and Irish pubs. I'm not gonna say no. Irish boxty and Irish coffee. Delightful way to finish out the evening.

So I downloaded this morning.


Danny + Rachel + reconciliation = happy me

Of course, now I'm feeling a similar tinge of worry for her that I do for Lisa. But not as bad.

I'll be eager for it to come out on DVD so I can see all the stuff I've undoubtedly forgotten over the season. (When I asked George if he wanted the show on DVD, he replied with a hearty, robust "Sure!!!")


I have every intention of writing my long and rambly for SPN. There is much to write about. And apparently, I feel the need to defend Dean, because I'm reading stuff around that's totally missing the point of his character.

A. Hey! I'll keep that in mind if we're ever in the area again.

2. I have a theory about Danny and Rachel's future. I think it could be a point of tension or uncertainty among the team next season. Specifically, I can see Rachel getting a divorce, getting back together with Danny (wedding?) and then . . . there's no reason for the Williamses to stay in Hawaii, is there. Danny misses NJ, and if there's no pressing reason to stay in Hawaii, there's no reason they can't go back to Jersey.

Except.

Except Danny likes his work and this team mates. He likes being part of an important job. And he wants to be a part of avenging Steve's mom's death. (And there's the possibility that Rachel and Grace would want to stay.)

But . . . I feel like I should re-watch the season before making such prognostications. I'm especially wanting to re-watch the ep wherein Rachel and Grace were carjacked (because the phone conversation while Steve has a suspect in custody in the forest was hi-larious. That is that ep, right?), and the one where Stan was involved in some shady stuff. (Was that the same ep?)

Tres. I'm hoping to be able to do my rambly this weekend. Not sure yet when this weekend. Maybe Saturday night or Sunday afternoon.
