Valentine's Day

George and I went to Dragon Chef and ate at one of the cooking tables. I've never done a hibachi grill before. It was fun.
I gave him a bottle of Bay Rum, and he gave me a Hallmark blooming rose and Reese's cups.

Oct. 1st, 2011 12:46 pmJust watched it on download. (Now that Izhi has made the announcement, I can tell you that I'm in L.A. for her wedding! \o/ I'm reading "sexy Scripture," as she calls it. More on that later. Busy, busy day.) And I met kalquessa in person for the first time yesterday! \o/ And if there are weird typos in this, it's because I just painted my nails.
( But I must take a moment to flail )
Now to set my mind to wedding things. (Will write more specifically about it all later.) Don't know when I'll get my long and rambly done; it might have to wait until I'm home. I shall certainly try to have it done before the next ep airs.

Haven't watched the royal wedding yet; it's recording on the DVR.
Have been looking at pictures, though.
Kate Catherine's dress is gorgeous. I love it. Very "Grace Kelly."
The boys (William and Harry) look quite sharp.
Kate and William seem very well matched. The pictures I'm looking at show a couple smiling at each other, who genuinely enjoy each other's company. Contrasted to Princess Di's shy smile on her wedding day, Kate's smile is bright and confident.
I wish them all the best.

Nov. 13th, 2009 10:18 amMany thanks for the anniversary wishes, dear f-list. It was a day of extremes. :-) I won't go into the household drama, but overall it was a fine, if rainy day. It rained on our wedding day, too, so in a way it was appropriate.
Geo gave me a lovely citrine pendant (appropriate for November, as it is one of November's birthstones). We ate at Panda Express (which was okay, but I'm used to family-owned Chinese, so it wasn't up to par with what I'm used to), then went to the movie, which we both enjoyed very much.
A very good day.

Regarding love stories
Nov. 10th, 2009 04:34 pmI've been thinking a lot the past day or so about Jensen and Danneel's engagement. The news is particularly touching for me because it comes at a very apropos time. You see, Geo and I will be celebrating our 14th anniversary tomorrow. I write this as I wait for him to get home from his week-long trip to St. Louis.
