feliciakwTonight after dinner we all went kite flying on the beach. Geo and I purchased inexpensive kites when we were out and about today (we went to see the Carrituck Beach Lighthouse. We climbed to the top, and on about the third landing, I remembered that I'm afraid of heights). I used to be pretty good at flying kites (it's been years--perhaps even decades--since I've been), and I'm still not too bad. My kite went right up, and I was able to bring it back down without incident.
Geo and I also walked a ways along the shore. The moon was big and orange tonight.
Nephew16 and I watched the S1 finale eps of SPN. At the very end, he said, "Well, you didn't see that coming." He's very low key about the whole thing, but I noticed him chuckling at Dean a couple of times.
