Just watched it on download. (Now that Izhi has made the announcement, I can tell you that I'm in L.A. for her wedding! \o/ I'm reading "sexy Scripture," as she calls it. More on that later. Busy, busy day.) And I met kalquessa in person for the first time yesterday! \o/ And if there are weird typos in this, it's because I just painted my nails.
Oh. My. Word. What was that? *flail* I spent the last 15-ish minutes of the ep with my hands over my mouth in an incredulous gasp. BOBBY'S HOUSE!!!!! NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Other flails:
Cas! *sob*
The Leviathans are creep-ee. And not a little bit frustrating. I'll be glad when they finally hit upon a way to kill them. Wood chipper, mayhaps?
Jensen got to play Lucifer! Jensen got to play Lucifer playing Dean! Maybe he won't get to play Michael, but he got to play Lucifer!
SHERIFF JODY!!!!!! *clappy hands*
SHERIFF JODY AND BOBBY!!!! *clappy hands*
Dean! Dean using his Hell experience to help Sam! I know a lot of people are ticked that they dropped Dean's Hell storyline and are giving Sam one, but this opens up all sorts of glorious avenues to revisit Dean's experience. We've been given multiple references since his memory has returned of his experience as torturer. Now it appears that Dean will be the only one who can help Sam because he's been there. Yay!
Also? Good grief, but I think dodger_winslow might be on the money with her theory that Dean is Sera's allegory/avatar for God. Sam's belief in Dean will be what saves him. I'm kinda really liking this, because I've said for a long time that Dean is Show's constant representation and warrior for Good. I'm . . . it just makes me all tingly.
Broken leg! Seizure! BEING TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL WHERE THE UGLIES ARE SETTING UP SHOP!!!!
And where's Bobby?????
Oh, I don't care what anyone says. I'm kinda loving this season and can't wait for next week!
Oh, Show! You make me flail!
Now to set my mind to wedding things. (Will write more specifically about it all later.) Don't know when I'll get my long and rambly done; it might have to wait until I'm home. I shall certainly try to have it done before the next ep airs.

Date: 2011-10-01 05:03 pm (UTC)I liked the ep a LOT better on re-watch this morning. I should remind myself not to watch (or at least, not to post) when I've had a terrible day, because it definitely colors my experience, and the 87 truckloads of commercials and pop-ups don't help. Watching it again this morning, with no ads, and a much better mood, really gave it a better flow.
Yep, I like Dodger's suggestion a lot too. (Even though all we Dean girls thought he was God[like] from the get-go.)
Have a wonderful time, and please give the happy bride a hug for me.

Date: 2011-10-02 09:26 pm (UTC)Ahem. Yes. With the flailing.
This is so much better than what I was envisioning at the end of last season. Sam's Beautiful Mind thing is way more awesome than if he just curled up under the sink, as Bobby put it. And the fact that reality is real because it hurts a certain way is so very Show, isn't it?
Also, new favorite line: "this conversation does not require a weapons discharge!" *loves*
*pets the pretty boys and their pretty pain*
Next week we get lots of pretty h/c, right? RIGHT, SHOW?
