This is one of the many reasons I'd love to work with the guys. Though admittedly, I'd probably be so nervous and terrified that I wouldn't know what to do.

One of the things I think would scare me (and I'll get into this a little bit when I write about my recent play) is that I'm not sure I'd know what to do with that kind of support. So often recently it seems that I've been in the position of having to catch others, that I'm not sure how I'd react to having someone catch me or "support" me. You know? That's not to say that my recent cast wasn't supportive. They were very encouraging. But I felt, a majority of the time, that being the more experienced (and prepared) of many of them, I was the one in the catcher's role, rather than being comfortable and relaxed enough to let the story tell itself.

Anyway. This vid right here? One of the reasons I would love--and yet can't really imagine--working with those guys. Truly a joy to work with.

Geo recently purchased for cheap the two seasons of Magnificent Seven that aired on CBS ten or so years ago. The actor playing Nathan, the escaped slave turned medic, looked familiar to me. Geo looked him up on IMDb. "He was on Supernatural," Geo says. "He played the alpha vamp?"

"OF COURSE!!!" exclaimed I. "Yes!" Wow. Quite a different character there, what?

Even after 6 years, it still never gets old hearing people confirm what caring, humble guys they are. I remember the first con I went to I was terrified that they would be jerks and it would ruin my life, LOL. I used to be a huge fan of Charmed, and the stories coming off that set were more scary than all the monsters that show ever had. I really treasure knowing that my favorite show has such a stand-up cast. ♥

I knew of someone in a previous fandom who didn't want to go to a con and meet the favored actor because she was afraid that she'd become disillusioned. Well, she ended up going, and he was as awesome as we all thought he was.

And you're right; it doesn't get old hearing these stories about J&J. It speaks to the kind of people they are--humble, caring, and respectful, and I admire them so for it.
