[livejournal.com profile] kimmer1227 pointed me in the direction of www.dreadcentral.com the other day, where you will find four interviews with people involved with the making of MBV 3D. Three of the interviews are with performers; one is with the director.

There are no interviews with Jensen, but he is mentioned quite prominently in the interview with the director, Patrick Lussier. (Jensen was considered very early on for the role, but things originally were not going to work out. Then as the start date for the movie got pushed back, and the production pursued Jensen again, as the shooting conflicts with SPN were no longer an issue.) Jared is also mentioned in the interview.

Then Jensen also gets a very nice mention in the interview with Chris Carnel, the stuntman who played the miner in the mask and coveralls. I know there's talk floating around that it was Jensen in the suit, and it might have been once or twice--I don't know--but this is the guy that did the heavy lifting, so to speak, when it came to the miner. The thespian in me finds his talk of having to create the murderer character kind of interesting.

There's also an interview with Nicki Aycox on the list, but I'm not familiar with the project she's interviewed for. (Something called Joy Ride 2. *shrug*)

Standard disclaimer: I've not surfed this site, so I don't know what kind of content it contains otherwise. Plus, if I were a concerned parent, I'd put a language warning on some of these interviews. Just so you know.

Hee! Thanks for the link. I love that he gets so excited regarding the tech side of things. He really does seem passionate about the whole process, and I find a man who is passionate about his work to be a very appealing trait.

Wasn't Chris' interview great! I also thought it was interesting that they used a *real* pickaxe.
