Life, Fannishness, and Thespic Infatuation

I went to my first art auction this weekend. My boss took me to an exhibit and auction (and "lottery") for the local arts foundation. It was really nice, and I came home with a very beautiful watercolor landscape. I got that in the "lottery." Everyone who bought a certain level of ticket got their name put in a drawing. And as your name was drawn, you got to choose which piece of art you wanted. I got my first choice. There was also a beautiful stained glass mirror that I had my eye on, but someone else got that.

Anyway, this morning, my boss and I were on the front page of the local paper. It's kind of a meh piccie of me. I don't often take good candid pics.

I suppose I need to get used to being in a small town and being part of a very high profile project in said small town. Meh.
