Monster Movie
Still one of my very favorites.
Dean at the most truly happy we've ever seen him.
Dean with a renewed sense of purpose, where saving people is a gift, and he's "on a mission from God."
And Jamie rocks.
Lederhosen.
They had way too much fun with that ep.

This and that
As is probably evident, I haven't felt much like writing the past few days. There's been good and there's been frustrating, and I'm on that med cycle again that knocks me into a coma on a daily basis.
( First, the frustrating )
( The pretty good )
( And in the interest of completion . . . )
( The musey, she is silent )
When the Levee Breaks
I went back in my journal to see what I'd written after this one originally aired. And I found that I did not write a long and rambly running commentary for this one. I was too upset and depressed. Reaction came to me in bits and pieces. I didn't write a blow-by-blow commentary.
( Thoughts from the far side of S5 )
The Monster at the End of This Book
I watched TMatEotB this morning, and a couple things of interest struck me, in light of S5.
Let's see if I can put them coherently.
( Let the babbling commence. )

SPN - "Lucifer Rising"
. . . or, "Kim Manners, you are missed, Sir."
Okey dokey. I re-watched the ep for the first time this morning. Yes, it plays better in higher def widescreen. No, my opinion of the ep has not changed.
( Kripke! Step AWAY from the mytharc and put your hands up! )

"When the Levee Breaks" theories
After a night of sleep, the shock seems to have worn off. I've downloaded the ep, but I'm still not planning on doing a magnum opus. I will, however, offer up some theories here, just in case they pan out next week. And a couple comments.
( Theories and comments )
Dear F-List
Due to shock, mourning, and grief, there will be no ep review of this week's SPN.
I have nothing to say. It hurts too much.
I feel my mind and body starting the process of mourning, as I do when a favorite and well loved show is cancelled. This is not going to end well.

SPN - "The Rapture"
Okey dokey. Let's see what I can get done here. Possibly way too much to even express, because . . . yeah . . .
( This is bad. This is very bad. This is so very, very not good. )
SPN - "The Monster at the End of this Book"
. . . is lovable, furry old Grover, of course.
But on to the task at hand.
( Tofu, cobb salad, and buckeyes, oh my! )
