Still waiting
Nov. 12th, 2011 05:42 pmDear iTunes:
Please get off your behind and get last night's episode uploaded. There are conversations going on that mention stuff that I totally missed due to my DVR freezing up. I was rather looking forward to catching the stuff I missed last night, but here it is after 5:30pm on Saturday, and still no download. And here you've been so very prompt this season. What gives?
Impatiently yours,
Me
So. I don't really want to comment on too much in depth until I can see everything that I missed. What I did see, I thought was okay, and some of it was quite good. But I'm hearing things about "the writers did this" and "the writers did that" "Sam was so mean" and I have no idea what people are talking about because what they're talking about must have been in the segment that didn't get recorded.
So, you know, grrrrrr . . .
*sigh*

Wank: It's not just for the interwebz
Oct. 20th, 2009 02:19 pmOh. Em. Gee. I . . . I . . .
I so want to tell you about the DRAMA that's been going on in the local newspaper regarding the project I work for. I just . . . I don't know where to start. Naysayers and complainers will always complain--LOUDLY--while people who are happy will say nothing.
I . . . can't even begin to talk about my adopted community in a public post. Perhaps I shall revisit the issue in one tightly locked.
Suffice to say the people who talk the loudest are, more often than not, the people with the fewest facts, the least accurate information, and the most misinformed or ill informed of anyone.
Gee. Sounds kinda like fandom, no?

Why the obsession?
Jan. 28th, 2009 01:00 pmWhy the obsession with widescreen, some of you might well be asking.
( Perhaps this will explain it )
