Vacation all I ever wanted . . .

feliciakwWell, we made it to the vacation house in Corolla, NC. I thought we were going to run out of land and end up in the ocean before we found it. It's quite lovely, and I'm planning on hitting the hot tub tonight. With the entire in-law clan under one roof, it's going to feel like . . . well, it will be entertaining, that's for sure. :-)
I did end up bringing both S1 and S2 of SPN. Nephew16 is rather jazzed about that. He said he would probably want to watch all of them. "A boy after my own heart," said I.
Seriously, though, I've got my Shirley Jackson books, and some health-type books, and kalquessa's fic to beta, so I've got plenty to do besides watch SPN.
And just for the record, my MiL is most awesome. She's paying for the house, and she's supplying all the household-type stuff we need. I kept asking what I needed to bring, and she kept saying, "Just your personal stuff." "Do I need to bring paper towels, or tissues, or what kind of food . . .?" "I've got all that stuff," says she.
Excellent.
