Happy Mardi Gras!

Though admittedly, I'm not really in the Mardi Gras mood today. I've had some heavy things on my mind the past 24 hours, wrestling with the inequities society presents us with, and just feeling worn out and tired from it all.

But we've got red beans and rice from a Cajun caterer waiting for us after work, so that's yummy.

And I need to find two more people to be in the Good Friday drama.

We got snow Sunday night, so that was nice. It was all gone by Monday noon.

What I'd really like to do right now is go home and take a nap. But that's not an option.
