A question for my readers

As we begin a new season of SPN, I find myself contemplating the future of my long and rambly commentaries. I've been doing them since the beginning of S4, so for three whole seasons. But the person who initially asked me to do them is no longer active on LJ, and others of my f-list have become busy with RL or have become disillusioned with the show.
This brings to mind a few questions.
I know that one or two of you read my long commentaries, but it seems that if anyone is inclined to comment on my thoughts, you'll do so in my initial "react-o-matic" style post immediately following the ep.
So. Have a poll:

I'm not watching live, I'm dvr'ing and reading reactions before I decide to watch, FF, or delete an episode unwatched. I've got to see some serious changes as well as a change in showrunner attitude before I re-commit.
Of course, even if it's wonderful, I still have a real conflict with Fringe, which I love and honestly do think is the better show in general. Then at the end of Oct Grimm begins on NBC, and if I like that too, it's gonna get ugly in that timeslot (thank goodness for On-Demand!). *ack* So SPN could still be dvr material even if I think it's a better show this year. ;)

I totally get that there are other shows that some fen (yourself included) like better. That's why DVRs were invented. :-) I've heard a lot of good things about Fringe, I've just never made the effort to check it out. But I do get switching shows when you've found something that interests you more. CSI used to be my "Don't call me, don't talk to me, don't even look at me funny" show on Thursday nights, which is one of the reasons I never checked out SPN before I was introduced to it on DVD. Then when I did see it, and got kinda hooked, CSI got displaced on the viewing schedule in favor of SPN.
I hope the show is able to pull itself up for you. For me, I'm going in with very few spoilers and no "expectations." Honestly? Right now I'm just ready for new eps and Jensen/Dean back on my TV screen.
BTW, did I mention that I really like your icon? Heh.
