There is also a pawn shop (where I used to work for Jeweler Friend) where you can arrange a complete wedding at the shop if you purchase your wedding set there. I've seen pictures of a man proposing to his girlfriend in the showroom.

And we didn't win the premiere of The Simpsons Movie? How does that happen?

I think we didn't win it because we didn't get the submission in on time. That should have made us win automatically.

That would be a Mal Reynolds quote from Firefly. I want to say that it was a line delivered to Jayne Cobb (the Hero of Canton), but I can't recall which ep (or perhaps from the movie). Hey, was it from that ep? "Jaynestown," I think it was called? When they were admiring the statue in the square?

Ok, this is totally cool. I just happened to see your post about the Irish Battenburg Cake on bakebakebake tonight, and noticed your icon of Sam and Dean chowing down. I was all *flails*, lol. I've never run across your journal, probably because even though we both love the show, our fic tastes have some differences. I clicked into your SPN trivia post, and took particular interest in your comment about Bobby's license tag for South Dakota looking like the license tags for Ohio. I live in Ohio. Then I decided to look at your tags, and I saw Springfield listed, and this post. I LIVE IN SPRINGFIELD! I thought that was pretty cool, both of us being here in good old Springtucky (lol)!

I read your ep coda to Scarecrow. You're a very gifted writer. I look forward to reading the rest of your stories.

Ha! Hi there. It's been half a dozen years or so, but I used to work part time at Rose City Jewelers. I was born and raised in Clark County (I'm a county girl rather than a city girl). Then in 2007, my husband's job south of the Mason-Dixon. But yes, I'm a buckeye born and raised. :-)

Thank you so much for the comment on the story. I enjoy writing, but Musey is so fickle and contrary that I don't do much of it.
