Grants Pass! O.O

Wow, this is a stressful episode.

Eeep. This is a very uncomfy episode. The tension, it is thick as pea soup.

Wow, this is dark.

And yet, we laughed. Naming monsters "Jefferson Starships" . . . gonna need a shorter version of that moniker, methinks.

Family and saving people always comes first with Dean.

This is, like, getting to the point of stressfulness where I've given up shows before. (But I don't think I can give up Jensen.)

I think I could learn to like Samantha Smith playing a baddie. It's weird and creepy, but she does it well.

Dean, I hearts you so very, very much! You are clever and ingenious and a natural leader and I hearts you. Phoenix ash with a whisky chaser. \o/ Totally did not see that coming! Awesome! (Actually, I think that whole thing right there, with Dean getting in her face and refusing was my favorite scene in the ep.)

Castiel. Oh, Castiel. You are not the angel I once knew. I loved you so when you first arrived on the scene. Now you worry me. Like, a lot.

Crowley isn't gone. (This does not come as a surprise, considering some of the Vancouver Airport pics that were released.) I am very concerned about Cas and his apparent partnership with Crowley. This concerns me greatly. Worries me, even.

However, the explanation of the souls made me feel once again like the mytharch is being crushed under its own weight. I'll have to think on this a bit. It makes my head hurt.

And did I mention, phoenix ash with a whiskey chaser? Dean, you're awesome. ♥

Hehe strangely it wasn't stressful for me :) I enjoyed it plenty because Dean was awesome, Samantha was awesome, Jensen was awesome, Misha was awesome and i like that they allow cas to have some *issues* as long as it'll end well.

That turned out WAY better than I expected - I anticipated an hour of cringing at Generic CW Actress trying to carry off being The Mother of All.

But somebody came to their senses and they let Samantha Smith do it. And she ROCKED.

Loved that they brought Crowley back - that the (yet another) stupid death of a great supporting character turned out to be a fake-out.

Loved that Cas is being Lured By Teh Dark Side. (I really like the discomfort with moral ambiguity that Misha is playing - taking the stance that the character, for all his "I am a BAMF and you know it"-ness, is pretty much in over his head and floundering for a solution.)

Loved Dean and his Jefferson Starships. Makes me think of a long-ago (perhaps alcohol-fueled) conversation between him and John re: that particular band.

LOVED Dean and his solution. BWAH!

Killing off Lilith 2.0 is a win any way you look at it.

Loved Dean's insistence on rescuing Dean & Sam 2.0 regardless of the cost - and then the discovery that they'd gone bad. Poor boys. The reunion scene with the boys and their uncle was very sweet, poignant and well-played.

The one bit that made me pout? Killing off Eleanor.

And I didn't see any indication that your prediction for the cliffhanger will prove wrong. Still holding out hope for that.

What an awesome episode. Everyone was badass and full of emotion, and SAM, I cannot get over having SAM back, and CAS--I'm scared of next episode now, and DEAN drinking phoenix ash, and BOBBY taking care of everyone...

And the boys were in my hometown. WTF Show. brb, loling forever.
