As promised, some of my favorite pics from Sundance.
Friday after arriving at the condo, this was the view from the main floor balcony:

Main Street:

The Irish pub that we tried several times to eat at. It was always busy. We did get to have curry chips (French fries with curry dipping sauce) at the bar. Fantastically delicious.

Saturday night, view from the transit station:

Sunday morning. Crisp and beautiful. View from the lower level patio:

K-Swiss party, which was also a ping pong tourney:

I'll maybe post some of the photos I took during the press shoots. And Geo got some pics of the Egyptian Theatre, which was very cool.
But this should get you started. (Sorry, no celeb pics.) I might also have some thinky thoughts to share.

Date: 2011-01-26 12:33 pm (UTC)They seem to have a pretty good handle on snow removal. It's actually getting from one place to another that's a challenge.

Date: 2011-01-26 12:31 pm (UTC)Utah has LOTS of snow--up in the mountains where Park City is. Not as much in the valley, though. Virginia--at least, my little corner of Virginia--has no snow right now. But the forecast is calling for 1-10 inches of precipitation. What that precip will be (rain, snow, ice) and whether or not we actually get it remains to be seen.

Date: 2011-01-26 12:32 pm (UTC)Sadly, we had neither the time nor the attire to enjoy the hot tub. Hot tubbing in the winter was one of my aunts favorite things to do.
Yes, Park City is very quaint. I think I'd like to go back not during the festival to see what it's really like.
