Happy birthday, my dear friend. I'll try to wish you a proper b-day on your actual b-day, but given my travel plans this weekend, I don't know if that will be possible. And your present will have to be delayed until I get back, I'm afraid.

So happy birthday, my dear, dear friend. Though we don't keep in contact like we used to (remember the days of multiple e-mails a day? Entire conversations, even), you've seen me through a lot of stuff, been privy to some major milestones of my life, been adventuring with me, and in general just been all around awesome.

Though a continent and three time zones divide us, you're never far from my thoughts.
