I take it there was either something red and grey on the table, with a big fat honkin' squared-off "O" or a bunch of inedible chestnuts.

'Cuz it would be too much to ask for chocolate buckeyes, wouldn't it? That's possibly one thing I miss terribly is our neighbour's annual buckeye gifts. ZOMG...

It was the chocolate buckeyes! On the diner table, there was a little standy advertising them for what looked like $4.99/something (container? Pound? I dunno.)

How difficult is peanut butter to come by? When Geo was in Australia, he said that he did see it in the grocery stores, but it doesn't come in the variety of jar sizes that it does here. I could send you my fave recipe, if you want.

OMG, that is hilarious. How terribly Ohioan of them. Can't wait to see that episode then (even if I have to order the DVDs!).

Peanut butter's all over the place, but it's of a slightly more solid consistency than the US Skippy stuff. The sizes are midgey, Geo was right about that. I think we go through a jar a week, 500 grams?.

I have a recipe but I wouldn't mind another one.
