You know? I just re-watched last night's ep, and I think I'm going to have fun doing a long-and-rambly. There's a lot to chew on, a lot of different directions they can go.


And I was delighted to take note that Enias didn't buy the farm last night.

There were a lot of little tidbits that reminded me of other things I will bring to your attention (or whoever ends up reading my L&R).

In short, I'm more intrigued as to where they might go now than twitchy about what they presented us.

Yeah, the more I think about it, the more I appreciate the episode. I really want to watch it again!

I loved the part where Hester (?) told Dean that Castiel had been "lost" when he pulled Dean from Hell... Dean looked so devastated. Such a sad scene!

So what direction do you suspect that the show will take? What are a few of your ideas?

I'll get into this more, but I strongly suspect that Cas isn't Cas. Or Cas isn't alone in there. On second re-watch, I was trying to sort out what I thought was genuinely Crazy!Cas and what was UnknownOther.

Could be Lucifer, there's an outside chance it could be Michael, it could be one of the other scribe angels. Or some other type of angel completely. Whatever it is, it's been unreachable for a long time. (I'm thinking other scribe angel, since it recognized Metatron's writing, but couldn't read the tablet. Though if they could clean up Michael's rep by having it be him, I'm all for that, too. But I won't get too long-winded here.)

I also think that Dean is going to have to give a bone (amputate his pinky toe?) for the cause. (I'm kidding about the pinky toe, but you know what I'm sayin'.)

That line from Hester . . . Yeah, ouch. So very much ouch.

I hope that Kevin and Enias get to stick around for a while. And I'm delighted to see Alpha!Vamp coming back. Were you around last year when I kept harping on how all the alphas were going after Dean because he's an alpha hunter? There's Something About Dean.

So I'll be back later for more details after I get my thoughts together.

I had some problems with the show because of where I work and I've known clients that really do act that way (except for zapping out of a conflict - there was one who would hide under the table).

Which only proves how good Misha Collins' acting is.

I thought the angels were Esther and Anias (the guy who tried to cheat Peter out of his tithes - not a uplifting story) but that's just a matter of pronounciation I think.

Also, did I miss something? Why does the better part of fandom think that Charley Bradbury is a lesbian?

Fandom thinks Charley (Charlie?) is a lesbian because during the scene where she's trying to break into Dick's office, Dean tells her to flirt with the security guy, and she says, "He's not my type - he's a guy." Personally, I found that pretty unambiguous. Also she "scored" at a reproductive rights charity dinner, which obviously would not necessarily be composed exclusively of women, but certainly more women than men.

The guy angel I'm pretty sure was Enias. The name was missing the extra syllable of Ananias. (Because I was thinking why on earth would they name an angel after Ananias? But I was able to find "Enias" on a Kabbalah-type website.) The girl was Hester, from what I could hear.

Yes, Charley Bradbury is a lesbian. When Dean was talking her through the flirting with the guard, she said at first, "He's not my type." Dean replyed, "Well, you're gonna have to play through that." To which Charlie said, "As in, he's not a girl."
