Kitty worry

feliciakwI took my cat *points to icon* to the vet early today. She was listless and grumpy last night, and listless and unresponsive this morning. Totally disengaged, and when she would move around, it looks like she's confused. Just walking around in circles.
I spent the morning checking her to see if she was still breathing.
It came on very suddenly. My first thought was "stroke." I'm also wondering "concussion." Or possibly "blindness" from a relapse of last summer.
She's only sixteen. (Yes, I know that's old for a cat, but our last one was twenty-one, so sixteen does not seem old.) And she's my cat. She follows me around. She's my "familiar."
She's under observation right now, and I'm waiting for a call after the vet examines her.
Quite frankly, I'm scared.
