I'm probably over-thinking this . . .

. . . but I can't let go of the fact that Lisa's pillowcase in the hospital was green.
I'm re-watching the ep, and Dean's green shirt in the beginning scenes just jumps out at me. (His green shirt usually does, because it brings out the green in his eyes.)
And now I notice that there's a hunter green bedspread on Ben's bed.
Dean's wearing a green overshirt.
He spends this ep in his green canvas coat.
His eyes are green (or, hazel leaning heavily toward green, depending on lighting, wardrobe, mood, etc.).
At the end, Lisa is being propped up, supported, made comfortable with green.
And now I see that Ben covers himself with green when he sleeps.
Part of me says that this can't be coincidence on the part of the set dressers and wardrobe.
It's like, even when they don't know it, Dean is the comforting and protecting presence.
Green is also a color signifying new life and new beginnings, which is what Dean is trying to give Lisa and Ben in that last scene.
Or maybe it's just because green is one of my favorite colors, and I notice it.
Maybe I'm over-thinking this.
But there might have to be fic.
