feliciakwI'd never heard of thunder snow until last year. I'd never seen it until tonight.
We're getting a heavy, wet snow right now, and driving home from the grocery, the sky lit up in a flash of blue. One of the freakiest things I've ever seen. I asked Geo if it was lightening, and he said yes, the forecast said we were going to get some thunder snow tonight.

Date: 2011-01-27 01:04 am (UTC)It started tonight in Baltimore. I heard the thunder and told my daughter. "No school tomorrow, kiddo."
And we are almost to blizzard conditions now.
Thunder snow = a significant snowfall.
