For the cat lovers among us
May. 29th, 2007 05:05 pmA couple weeks ago, I took one of my cats to have her teeth cleaned. When I went to pick her up, they gave me a box of something called OraVet and the following instructions:
Please follow these easy steps each week:
1) Wipe any excess saliva from the front of your pet's teeth and gums, using a paper towel or a clean, dry cloth.
2) Open the seal on one packet, swab the gel on the applicator.
3) While holding your pet's mouth closed, lift the upper lip on one side and spread the gel on the upper teeth and gums at the gum line.
4) Now spread the gel on the lower teeth and gums at the gum line. (Note that it is only necessary to apply the gel to the front of the teeth and gums.)
5) This should take approximately 10 seconds on each side of the mouth.
Needless to say, my family found this all LOL funny. Because, yeah. Right.
