Project Still Life Recap - Oh. Oh, ladies . . .

Okay, so ya know how last week's ep was Jensen-light? Well, today's ep (Gravity) totally makes up for that. I thought my hand was gonna fall off. (Yes, I take my initial notes longhand on a steno pad. How weird is that?)

Also, all those smiles he hasn't been smiling? He was totally saving them up for this ep.

This one's a keeper, in all the right ways. I might have to re-watch it without the steno pad in front of me, because, ladies, this young man demands your attention.

Also? We get to meet Flirty!Max. Which is totally different from Flirty!Dean.

And? He's adorable when he's being smugly bashful. Or bashfully smug. (Truly, he and Em probably have the best on-going character chemistry on the show.)

Seriously.

But don't worry, angst!fans. There's Max!angst aplenty here.

I have an appointment this afternoon, but I'll try to get the blurb-y recap up later today. This one is gonna take a ton of transcription later.

Fan poem rec

I don't usually go for fan poetry--unless it is filk. Or haiku. Heck, I've written fan filk poetry (I've filked Poe and Shakespeare, so that should tell you where my filkish geekiness lies), and I've written haiku that smacked me upside the head and wouldn't leave me alone. ubt I don't usually go for original stuff.

But this? This is lovely. kalquessa being all literary and stuff.
