So I see that more promo pics have been released, and I'm trying to be judicious and only clicking on the thumbnails that look like they won't spoil beyond what I've already found out (either by the trailer or by con clips or by accident). But there's the one pic of the graffiti that is intriguing me, as I can't figure out what the letters are supposed to stand for. So maybe if I see the whole picture, I'll have a better idea.
So I click.
And the whole word appears.
EEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! *flappy hands*
Okay, I totally didn't need to know that until the ep when I could flail at Geo and he would look at me funny and I'd explain on a commercial, "Don't you remember the ep where . . . " and he'd say, "Oh, right." And I'd over-gesticulate and go "That's what that is!!!!! *flailityflailflailflail*"
But I spoiled myself in an empty office and have no one to share my high-pitched EEEEEEEEEE with.
So this will have to do.
EEEEEEEEEEE . . . is it 9:00 yet?

Date: 2009-10-01 03:35 pm (UTC)Looks like a good one - I've only seen a few promo pics -- I think the basic ones. Hopefully I will get the graffiti as well. I never remember to look at the whole pic -- I get so focused on the boys(Dean). But I'm learning to take in the whole pic and look for nuances and colors and roses and all that.
I love Thursdays -- Bones.. SPN... The Mentalist. Life is good on Thursday.

Date: 2009-10-01 03:49 pm (UTC)Oooohhh . . . and now I'm putting pieces together that I don't want to put together yet.
I don't know how excited I actually am for the ep itself. But we've got a new playground, and Jensen gets the opportunity to be all kinds of awesome, and we get continuity (hopefully) from S2, and . . .
I'd better stop now before I start to hyperventilate.

I do not want to know what kind of wank can come out of this ep. I know it's the future. And I know what Yoda says about the future: "Always in motion is the future."
I also know what Ebeneezer Scrooge learned: "Men's courses will foreshadow certain ends, to which, if persevered in, they must lead . . . But if the courses be departed from, the ends will change. Say it is thus with what you show me."
Now, Castiel has said that all roads lead to the same destination, which puts a bit of a monkey wrench in the above, BUT, there's also the Dr. Who theory of time travel. At least, I think it's Dr. Who. My Whovian f-listies can correct me if I'm wrong. And that is that the BIG, HUGE, MAJOR events of history cannot be changed, but there's no real butterfly effect going on wherein a slight change in the course will portend enormous consequences to the timeline.
So.
Don't want to hear the wank. *sticks fingers in ears* Lalalalalalalalalalalalalalalala.
T - nine hours and 1 minute and counting . . .

Date: 2009-10-01 04:05 pm (UTC)(I was spoiled for what you reference a while ago, but didn't even think to spread it around! Mostly because I have no guesses as to how, exactly, it will play into the story--and because I originally thought it would be in a different ep.)

Date: 2009-10-01 04:35 pm (UTC)For anyone reading this: This is purely 11th hour speculation on my part based on incomplete spoilers. I do NOT want complete spoilers. Do not tell me if I'm wrong. Do not tell me if I'm right. I want to find out in my own good time.
Okay, so. I know this ep takes place 5 years in the future. (Info gleaned from the trailer, and from Jensen at VanCon.)
I know the set was used on The Watchmen. (Per Jensen. New playground yay!)
I know that Jensen is not un-hot when accessorizing with a thigh holster. (Per promo pics.)
I know that Sammy will have slicked back hair and a white suit, like a snake oil salesman or something. And that he pins Dean down by stepping on his neck. (Per "O Death" trailer.)
I know that this is supposed to be a 28 Days Later kind of thing. (Per Jensen--I think--at VanCon.) I also accidentally read something about a "zombie virus." (Per CW site, I think.)
And now I've see the graffiti.
But Sam is immune! Ergo while everyone around him is getting infected and killing each other, he can effectively take over the world (minus the little band of resistance fighters led by a fetchingly accessorized Dean).
And I'm coming up with alternative scenarios even as I just sit here, like maybe it just heightens an existing predisposition . . . or something. Bzuh. *brain asplody*
Oh, Boys!
