The husband, he indulges me

So. Geo went to Ohio this weekend, and he ended up having to rent a movie to which he was giving an introduction for a public showing. He has a friend who manages a Blockbuster, so he went there, and they had the most recent SPN magazine in the rack. So he calls me and asks if I had the copy of "the Supernatural Magazine that has the guy who was in the X-Files?" No, says I. "Do you want me to get you one?" says he. "Sure, if you want to," says I.

So he brought me back a magazine and a 2-lb box of chocolates. And for himself, he got for cheap a copy of the new DVD release of the original My Bloody Valentine. Why am I not surprised? (This means I get to get the Jensen Ackles version, right?)

Y'all might be amused to know that according to interviews in the magazine, Jensen got an electric dirt bike, and Jared got a scooter. So you have 6'4" Jared folded up onto his scooter and 6'1" Jensen on his mini dirt bike, drag racing around the lot. I would almost pay money to see that. Ha!

I just got that one too - and yes, I'd love to see the boys on their toys - especially after seeing some Friday the 13th stills where Jared makes a full-sized motorcycle look like a scooter!

I also saw the comments of Kim Manners and he remarks that the "Js" (he started it, it seems) hadn't gotten him back for the prank. My thought was "they knew he was sick and didn't want to."

He totally does! The first time I saw him on the 'cycle, it took me a moment to figure it out because I was thinking to myself, "Wait. Is that a regular full-sized motorcycle? It . . . must be. But . . . it looks smaller."

On a motorcycle, Jared looks like he's all leg. ha!

I've not read much of the mag yet, but I did see a couple of Kim comments, and they are bitter sweet. :-(

I picked up the magazine last weekend. It was funny about the scooters. Of course Jensen blamed it on the sound guy for starting it all. Boys and their toys.

It's so heartbreaking to read comments from Kim, knowing he's gone now. Terribly, terribly sad.
