Where the heck did this crack come from?

I know exactly where it came from: kalquessa's second comment (and attending replies) in this thread.

What crack, you ask?

Well, as I was getting breakfast this morning, it occurred to me that someone could write an AU centered around the Winchester and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory. Stop the problem at its source now, and base the hunts from a central location.

Then it occurred to me that that totally could be a guest character on the show--a hunter (or hunters) who work out of a funeral home.

Because it just needs to happen.

Hee. I have a small family of OCs that started talking to me years ago about wanting to be in a story...and I've never really done anything with them, because I couldn't come up with a story for them...but they own a funeral home, and they tend to have a slightly warped collective sense of humor due to their vocation. Hm.
