The preview for tonight's SPN makes me smile. I believe this ep will amuse me greatly.

(Still saving up for that HDTV, though.)

Finally got my HD receiver hooked up yesterday. Woot! I had to wait 3 loooong weeks to get an appt for DirecTV to come and hook me up.

Pushing Daisies looked terrific, so I just know the counting of the FrAckles will be awesome.

I'm sure Pushing Daisies looks FANTASTIC in hi-def. That's such a coolly stylistic show. There's just nothing like it on TV (that I know of) right now.

And I think I love Olive.

What? You won't watch it tonight?

Oh, I'll watch it tonight. I'd just hoped to be able to watch it on a new hi-def TV this week. No such luck. I'm gonna have to get creative with the household accounting and find someplace where I can pull a little extra cash from.

Oh, It's good you'll watch it tonight. Cash problem isn't good though *sigh*
I don't have big plazma *sigh again* but i sooooo looking for this ep! There must be such yummy references to old movies! I think Singer is Master to disguise them - it'll be funny to watch and try to catch them :)

Yeah, so, chatting tonight or tomorrow? I do have my interview tomorrow, but there could be a bit of chatting, perhaps afterward or before (to help me get less nervous!).

This ep does look like an awful lot of fun!

My roommate's and not at all actually my HDTV mocks you.

In Red Sky? Totally able to see the outline of JA's contact lens as he stole the hand from the museum. Trufax.

Well, yeah. As a contact lens wearer myself, I don't really need HD to see other people's lenses. I think Samantha Ferris also wears contacts.

Jensen in RSaM as he's doing his smooth criminal thing? Can totally see the lenses.

ETA: Didn't mean to sound snarky. It's a combination of my HD-envy and trying to multitask in 2 different offices today. :-)

Haha, I didn't even interpret it as such.

...I mean, omg, you bitch!

*snerk* Yeah, after I wrote that, I thought, "Wait a minute. This is sarcasticVal. Like she's gonna have an issue with snark."

I appreciate the clarification nonetheless :)

They released a few clips from this ep, and I have no self-control, so I looked them up on youtube, and...yeah. I am most amused, and plan to be more so come Friday afternoon.

I am already in love with the music - all those lush violins!

Re: your icon . . . When I read the Tivo description of tonight's episode:

"Dean and Sam investigate when a series of murders take place at Oktoberfest" (or something like that)

my first thought was, "Oh, that explains the lederhosen."

Bwah!

And doesn't Dean say in "Wendigo" that he doesn't do shorts? Oh, Dean. Forget being strapped to a table for possible Frankensteinification. It's the shorts he's really scared of.

Two hours and sixteen minutes and counting . . .

It's also director Jim Beaver's (!) tribute to the old monster films. I can't wait!
