Well, it wasn't the worst ep in the series.
This one didn't do much for me. I like Charlie okay, but she does seem a little one-dimensional at times--perky, smart, talented, the focal point of her episodes. A breath of fresh air for the brothers, maybe, but . . . I liked her first ep and her third ep. Her second and fourth ep both fall in the same category of "trying too hard" or something, I think.
Maybe that's it. In her first and third eps, the danger was not something her quick thinking alone could overcome. She needed the guys. There was just something . . . different than her second and this one. I'm not sure I can explain it.
Was kind of put off by Dorothy as well. Though maybe it was as much the acting of the character as the writing? I don't know. Though I liked that she rode a bike, and maybe that we'll get to see Dean ride it.
My thought, when seeing the shoes, was, "They should be silver."
Baby has a room now, though, which is cool. :)
Things are getting tricky for Dean. Oh, Dean.
Kinda liked that they harkened back to Dean's artifact/weapons inventory for the key.
It seems that the writers write as much crack fic as regular episodes anymore. And while I usually liked Ben Edlund's cracky episodes, this batch of writers . . . I don't know . . . they don't have Edlund's touch, I guess.
I'm also skeptical of next week . . . but we shall see.

Date: 2013-10-30 08:03 pm (UTC)I am kinda glad that Charlie is off on an adventure, though Dean is . . . not.
I'm sure we got some interesting clues to upcoming . . . things . . . that I'll have to re-watch the ep to sort through.
