I wasn't expecting that.
Dean letting an angel possess Sam? And stay there?
Was not expecting that.
Also, they used the title of a song from Annie. Huh.
I like Ezekiel. I kinda wish we could have kept the actor. Also, delighted to have another good angel on the show. Although now that he's in Sam, there's less chance of him getting killed off.
(I hope they keep Ezekiel good.)
Also also, really cool opening title card.
"My Three Sams" (again) makes my head hurt a little.
I rather liked Dean's prayer. It was very Dean--equal parts bad-a and heartfelt plea.
Overall, it didn't bowl me over, but it was entertaining enough, and the previews for next week look really good.
Plus, it was nice to have new Dean to watch. *nods*

Date: 2013-10-10 01:05 am (UTC)Tah-dah! Everybody wins - Zeke gets a body fit for an Archangel - Sam finally gets to die - Death finally collects a Winchester for good and Dean thinks he's got Sam back.
And everyone is keeping secrets from each other.
heh, heh, heh, heh.

Date: 2013-10-10 04:18 pm (UTC)I'm just dreading Sam finding out. Mid-Season finale: Sam finds out, they'll fight. Feel hurt/betrayed. Get over it. Then bring it up every time one of them gets possessed.

Date: 2013-10-12 04:26 pm (UTC)I can easily see your mid-season scenario playing out. But I've got some things I'd like to see in the meantime. Like maybe Zeke popping out with his angel powers when Dean is in trouble. And maybe, just maybe, revealing to Dean those warm, fuzzy, fraternal feelings that Sam has for Dean that often seem to get buried under his "why don't you trust me/I can do this myself/etc." things we get so often from Sam. You know, since Sam doesn't often express them well himself recently.
You know?
