A - Age: Old enough to be the adult I don't feel like I am.
B - Bed size: Queen
C - Chore you hate: Cleaning house, especially the bathroom.
D - Dog's name: Cats. If I had a dog, it would be a German shepherd or a "wolf-looking" dog like a husky, malamute, or elkhound, and I'd give her a very clever name. The cats' names are Isis, Pippa Picassa, and Chloe Calypso.
E - Essential start to your day item(s): breakfast. Also, currently, kittens.
F - Favorite color: Mostly green, though all of them, depending on use and context.
G - Gold or Silver: Why choose? Also, rose gold.
H - Height: 5'6"
I - Instruments you play: Piano
J - Job title: House Manager
K - Kisses or hugs: Both, though it depends on the giver.
L - Living arrangements: 2-bedroom, 3-bath house on 1.3 acres. With my husband. Mortgage.
M - Mood: Lazy
N - Nicknames: Currently, no nickname (weird, huh), though growing up, it was Fish.
O - Overnight hospital stays other than birth: Abdominal surgery back in the early '90s (1992?, 1993?).
P - Pet Peeves: Constant, on-going, continual questions that seem to come from nowhere.
Q - Quote from a movie: "Hello. My name is Iniago Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." Also, "Incontheivable!" Also, "I do not think that word means what you think it means." Also, "Nobody puts Baby in a corner." (Yes, these two movies were among the most quoted between me and my college friends.) Honorable mention: "Listen! Do you smell something?"
R - Right or left handed: Right
S - Siblings: One
T - Time you wake up: When I'm done sleeping.
U - Underwear: Yes.
V - Vegetable you dislike: Brussels sprouts
W - Ways you run late: Oh, how do I run late? Let me count the ways.
X - X-rays you've had: Teeth, nose, abdomen
Y - Yummy food you make: Many things. Particularly chocolate citrus cake, pineapple pretzel salad, and Battenburg cake. Also, peach cobbler.
Z - Zoo favorite: Penguins and otters. Because they are hilarious and cute.

Date: 2013-05-21 11:06 pm (UTC)Chocolate Citrus Cake (http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/chocolate-citrus-cake-with-candied-oranges-10000001940908/). I highly recommend using a stand mixer if you have one, because the batter becomes very thick. It's always a big hit at parties. One of my cousins said that she broke out in a sweat eating a piece.

Date: 2013-05-22 01:34 pm (UTC)I you're sketchy on movies from that era, you must remedy that ASAP.
Star Wars
Empire Strikes Back
Raiders of the Lost Ark (my cousin, brother, and I spent at least one afternoon a week at the movies that entire summer seeing Raiders. It must be seen on the big screen to be truly appreciated.)
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
The Lost Boys (because seriously, if you love SPN, you'll love The Lost Boys. There are so many similarities between the two that the first time I saw the pilot of SPN, the very next thing I wanted to do was show Izhilzha Lost Boys.)
I'm sure I could come up with a ton more, but that should keep you busy over the long Memorial Day weekend. :-)

Back to the Future is awesome.
Also, Ghostbusters.
Check out Jaws, also.
