I suppose it depends on what aspect of the "signature feel" one refers to. I'm thinking along the lines of the road trip, back water, blue collar, underground aspect of it. It's certainly been lessened, possibly even ignored, but the guys hiding out from the leviathans in abandoned houses with no electricity, or in Rufus's cabin . . . that's in keeping with the old feel.
What's really been lost in the signature feel is the creepy. That I do miss quite a lot. (And that was lost long before the end of the original mytharc.)
