Happy New Year!

It's been quite a year, 2012, a roller coaster year of ups and downs.

Being selected by a birth mom, meeting with her, meeting the baby, to receive the call that she's decided to parent just as Geo and I were walking out the door to bring the baby home. That was in April.

Visiting Mother and Daddy for their birthdays/anniversary. (This was the last time I saw Daddy in person.) June.

Daddy's passing in August.

My 25 year high school class reunion in September.

Birth of Nephew C in November.

Lighting of the theater marquee in December.

The passing of my sweet little Bunqui the day after Christmas.

Nephew C was definitely the highlight.

I learned a lot about faith and trust and holding on this year. And Daddy left us with some very encouraging words that warm my heart when I think about them.

I'm ready to make a fresh start tomorrow.

Here's to a happy, blessed, joyous 2013.
