Y'all might remember that Jensen's family took part in a buddy walk for the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas a few months ago. (His nephew Levi has DownS.) Jensen auctioned off a jar of prop salt at a convention, with the proceeds going to the guild's walk, and donations kind of exploded.

Now it seems that Jensen and Levi are going to be part of a fundraising 2013 calendar. Jensen, quietly putting his fame as a Dallas-hailing celeb to use again for the guild.

If I understand the time stamp on the mobile up-load of the above-linked pic correctly (and please, click the "Behind the Scenes" link to go to the DSGoD Facebook page for more information and pictures), this photo was taken sometime yesterday (June 14). Search through the album and you'll find photos of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, Miss Dallas, and other famous Dallasites (?) taken earlier in the week.

I've often wondered what Jensen's "charity of choice" is, but I don't think it really matters. He obviously supports causes that are close to his heart and to the hearts of his family and friends. I don't know if I'll purchase a calendar, but his willingness to quietly take part in such projects warms my heart.

He seems to be great with and to really care about kids, and it probably sounds silly, but I like that he seems to take such an interest in children, particularly with Geo's and my current and ongoing journey with adoption.
