Well, that was a stressful and frustrating episode. Waiting the entire episode for the other shoe to drop.
I did like Merren (?) (Mara? Maren? The chick in the hospital.)
I also loved that they fit in a salt and burn case amongst Sam's breakdown and Dean finding Cas.
And I kind of love that "Immanuel" (or "Emanuel" seems to be the spelling everyone is going with) was a bona fide healer.
Wanted to slap Cas for walking away after he'd smote all the demons outside while Sam was still inside (with a demon experimenting electroshock on him! Probably one of my least favorite plot devices, electroshock).
And Dean has been carrying the trench coat around all season, transferring it from car to car. Aw.
And THEN! Cas shifted the wall. Oh, Cas. I mean, there wasn't much else to be done, but oh I feel bad for him.
And a very messy and awkward lack of closure going on there.
But Sam's better and we can move on from that, right?
But poor Cas!
And Meg (whose face has rounded out. My first thought was baby weight. Has she had a baby recently?) setting up shop at the hospital to keep an eye on him.
It all makes me feel a little queasy, actually. And I feel bad for Daphne.
This one has left me with a dark feeling, somewhat reminiscent of when I had to read The Pearl in middle school.
Yes, dark and queasy right now.
But . . .
Next week? *bouncebounce* Looks good and creepy. And we get Garth back. He amuses me. I wonder if we'll meet his tri-racial paraplegic sniper cousin. 'Cause that would be awesome.
