Verse help?

Hey, gang. I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. I could swear--I mean, I'm 99% sure--there's a passage in the NT wherein Paul (at least, I think it's Paul. It sounds like something Paul would say) says something to the effect that he would rather trade his own salvation than see his flock stray. Or something like that. But none of my word searches in my concordance are helping. Can someone point me to that verse?
Thanks muchly!

Date: 2007-11-27 10:25 pm (UTC)You know, I'm in a really weepy mood today. I'm sitting here, looking at your icon of Dean, reading this verse (and thinking what an excellent "modern day Paul" Jensen could play), and pondering the sheer passion Paul felt for Christ and for the salvation of everyone he came into contact with, and I'm just awed by it.
Pardon me while I go grab a tissue.
