Recording froze, so it felt kind of disjointed, but some things did make me a little flaily.
Specifically, Crowley. CROWLEY!
As soon as the pieces started falling together that it was a CRD, I was wondering when Crowley would show up, and he did! And he's telling the demons to leave Sam and Dean alone to fight the leviathans! That's . . . rather clever and kind of an awesome plot point. No "deals with demons," no "working together," just Crowley seeing that it's to his advantage to lay off the Winchesters until the leviathan issue is settled. Ha!
Now, about Becky. The last time we saw her, I really liked her. (I think it was the actress as much as the character that I liked, because the actress seemed to be having such fun with the role.) I thought she was hilarious. Here? Yeah. Not so much. I knew from the previews last week that it had to be a dream or a spell. I'd heard rumors (gotta stay away from the boards that post spoilers in subject titles) that Becky was going to be the bride.
Did not know that Dean would be working with a substitute. I'll have to wait until the download, but I think I kinda liked the guy. Bobby recommended him, right? So he must have something going for him.
And I'm sure I'll have more to say after the download, particularly about Dean not wanting to spend time in his own head.
Though Dean and I do have similar tastes in gifts. I gave Geo a new waffle iron for his b-day. We've used it almost every weekend since, because it makes FANTASTIC waffles. Yummy.
I think I'll leave it at that until the download.

Date: 2011-11-12 03:51 am (UTC)Hated the Becky stuff. I really need to stop watching the Previously stuff. Knew right away who the bride would be. Bummer. I wanted to be surprised. Also. It's never okay to roofie someone. It's just not.
Sam. Spit out the damn gag with your tongue. Duh.
Jensen had some nice comic stuff, but I'd say this was barely okay, even for a filler. Maybe I'll like it better on rewatch.

Date: 2011-11-12 03:58 am (UTC)I kinda LOVE that it is now canon that humans are better at killing the competition than everyone/thing else, and that the demons know it. Personally, I think this is an arrangement that has been going on since the dawn of hunters, but you know, I like to write about it instead of just whistling it in comments *really needs to get to Book 3 on No Way Back, so can vouch for Dean not wanting to spend time in his own head, arg*
DJ was fun. Garth missed a lot so I'm kinda surprised that he took it, honestly, but I'd love to see him again. Becky just reeks of needing to be understood. ... That's really the nicest thing I can come up with.
