I don't have much to say about this one right now. It was too depressing. And kinda hurt. A lot.

Otoh, I had victory arms \o/ when I saw the preview for next week, because according to the preview, I WAS RIGHT!!!!!! (Now, you gotta understand that I'm not often right about such developments, so I take my victories where I can. And I'm takin' this one. I talked about this at length with someone in RL, though I never went into much detail in the ol' LJ.)

ETA (11:57pm ET) . . . Well, apparently even if this ep kinda ripped my heart out and left me numb (no, Sam, not your kind of numb), I'm ready to re-watch it to catch what I might have missed. I might not have a blow-by-blow commentary for it, but there were some interesting points raised (Dean is now in tune with the angelic world?) that will need some pondering and maybe keep my mind off the mess that Dean's life with Lisa and Ben has become.

Man, I hope they choose to fix that. But in all honesty? At this point, I'm not holding my breath.

It was too depressing i agree. The only part i can rewatch and feel somehow good about it is Lisa'a phone call. What a woman! Can i replace Sam with her? Please?

The conversation with Lisa hurt. I get why she said what she said, and that she didn't have the opportunity to temper it with her whole truth (like the sister of the first girl wanted to say "I love you," but what came out was "Why don't you kill yourself?"), then they heaped on top of that Dean's confession of genuinely wanting a family but knowing he's a killer and can't be a father. That. Hurt.

I'm still hoping they'll work out the Dean/Lisa thing, but I don't see it happening in the immediate future.

I don't even think she should temper what she said. I only hope Dean will be able to listen to her because her words were absolute truth.
Dean thinking he's a killer isn't new though. I think it already was addressed in S4 (or S3, don't remember). And i think him thinking so is a regress from what he achieved in that last year :(
