Life, Fannishness, and Thespic Infatuation

I understand why they wouldn't have included something like this, because it wouldn't have forwarded the story the way the scene with Lisa did, and they're working with time constraints when it comes to storytelling. But you're absolutely right--it's important that we care about the characters, and goodness knows this show skips rope of being a family drama/soap opera often.

Hopefully we'll get an ep of Dean going home to touch base mid- or late-season to check in with Ben and Lisa again.
