I actually thought that the case in this ep played better than last weeks'--less jumble and confusion, more of a straight-forward solve.
Although I admit that 'shifters are the one monster on SPN that I have no problem with repeating. They always do something different with them--"Skin" was our intro, the revealing of identity; "Nightshifter" was a lockdown horror thing, but that shifter was after money; "Monster Movie" was something else again, and now we get baby shifters and shifter social structure, etc.
<3 Lisa. I also hope we get much more of her and Ben, being Dean's home even while he hunts. I LOVED his, "I want to be here." As you said, no hesitation, full of real emotion. He loves Lisa and Ben. They love him. That's family, there. It's...oh. It's hope. You know how we've talked so often about the boys never having real hope? Dean does, now. :)
