The fancy windows: Supernatural has a long history of using houses in the Arts & Crafts/Craftsman styles, or the less elaborate Victorian styles, both of which like their panes and fancy glass. Whoever does their locations has a real eye for architecture.
"Designed by NASA": got a laugh from all of us, especially Trudy (who babysits her nieces a lot).
Whiskey for teething: Trudy and Mary both attested to the effectiveness of liquor as a topical anesthetic!
Dean & Lisa: I was reminded of military families, where one spouse is gone for long periods of time. Not everyone can handle that. But I'd bet Lisa could.
