Pass the ketchup?

So, much of my f-list seems to be MIA of late. Hopefully things are going well for ya all.
Geo and I had a really nice weekend. Saturday night we went to an open house/b-day party for RP, a really sweet gal who works with Geo and is our primary house sitter. It was an hors d'oeuvre and wine tasting. And her mom made a magic cake! I kid you not!. It was, like tie-dyed psychedelic pink, purple, green, and yellow swirl. It was amazing!
Sunday after church we went to Cici's pizza and then to see How to Train Your Dragon in 3D. What a fun, fun movie! There aren't too many movies anymore that I want to go back and see again right away, but this one I wouldn't mind seeing again.
I finished another bebe afghan, and I really like the way it turned out. It's really rather elegant, but very easy, and it's the color of orange sherbet (it's called "peach blossom"). I think the next time I use that color, I'm going to pair it with white to make it look like dreamcicle ice cream. I'm currently working on another one in pastel yellow (which looks like lemon sherbet. Do you see a theme here?).
Work has been very, very quiet of late. Boss has been out of the office with a bad back, and other than covering a meeting here and there, it's just been really quite.
Oh. And I had another appointment at the endocrinologist yesterday. He continues to be very pleased with the way my body responds to the various meds he's put me on. I apparently react precisely as expected. However, he continues to be frustrated that my body lacks the consistency to be able to actually predict when anything is going to happen. *sigh*
I also tried out my new stand mixer that I got for my b-day. I made Ghirardelli double chocolate cookies. Very rich.
So there ya are. I need to go read over the pieces I'm reading at the book kick-off this Sunday.
Two more days till Show. \o/
