I like SPN's Kali better than SG-1's because she was scarier (as befits a god/goddess of destruction) and the SPN people actually gave her the string of heads that is Kali's signature accessory whereas the SG-1 costume department (which I always felt was sadly lacking in mythology buffs) just gave her some random Hindu-esque outfit with a big hat.
