Congrats, Canada
Feb. 28th, 2010 06:23 pmCongratulations to Team Canada. Gold on home ice, and an exciting game for everyone involved.
I'm disappointed Team USA lost, of course, but to see Canada win on home ice makes me smile.
And knowing that various members of the opposing teams are teammates in their real job and real life kind of made it feel like a family game. But that's probably just me.
(Olympics: the only time I make an effort to watch hockey.)

Date: 2010-03-24 03:07 pm (UTC)I didn't get to watch any of the curling during the Olympics, and that is one sport I'd like to see what it's all about and what the challenges are. Because really? It seems a little silly. But it might be fascinating! I want to know more!
