feliciakwWatched the end of S1 last night. Was somewhat surprised to realize that Pastor Jim had in his arsenal what appeared to be a demon-killing dagger. At least, that's what I extrapolate.
Meg goes to talk to Pastor Jim. When she reveals her black eyes, he tells her, "I know what you are."
She chases him to the basement, where he locks himself in the room containing his hunting arsenal. He grabs a knife/daggar with symbols etched into the blade. When Meg breaks in, he throws it at her, aiming for her head. (She catches it.)
He clearly expected the dagger to be an effective weapon against a demon. Perhaps he'd never used it before (demons weren't common pre-series), but his expectation was clearly that it would do some serious damage, at the very least.
It looked nothing like Ruby's knife, but I find it interesting that even in S1, such a blade was introduced in passing. It's probably just a coincidence, but I still think it's an interesting tidbit.
