if Sam is supposed to be Lucifer's meat suit, how then does it benefit Lilith to have him dead? Now, if she wants to be top banana, it makes sense
I figured that at this point her goal *is* to be "top banana." None of the seals have been broken yet, right--Dean breaking in hell is the first one. (And they can't guarantee that's going to happen yet, especially given John's unnatural resistance! *g*)
Of course, Lilith could get into trouble later if she did away with Lucifer's meat suit (and that IS problematic for the mytharc), but His Darkness is not around (and neither is the YED at this point), so....she may just be rolling out her demonic ambitions, for now.
