Happy Mardi Gras!

It's going to be a quiet Mardi Gras for us. Geo is at work, and I've got a medical appointment today. No king cake for us this year. Geo has lost 20 pounds, and I certainly don't need to eat a whole freakin' king cake by myself.
Later tonight, when we should be having red beans and rice (which is in the crock pot right now), we'll be in F'burg at an informational meeting for domestic infant adoption. Just information right now, because information can't hurt.
My current prayer request is that Geo and I would recognize opened and closed doors, and that we won't continually walk into a closed door. 'Cause that can give you a headache.
