The ep was so stressful when it first aired. So tense and the impending doom was just . . . ugh. And yet, humor sprinkled in, but humor with a melancholy doom to it.

SPN S3 fly-by review
Well, gang, I know I've been lax about my S3 reviews. I've been re-watching and I've made a couple observations, but overall, the thinky is just too too to me to put into words. But . . .

SPN S3 (Magnificent Seven and The Kids Are Alright)
I know I went light on the reviews for S2. There's just so freakin' much there that I didn't have the energy to tackle it all. If there's something specific you'd like to know my thoughts on, just ask.
I'm up to S3 in my refresher viewing, and here's where things really start getting twitchy for me. The whole thing takes a seriously dark turn and the tone goes from cool and creepy to grim and desperate.
