Happy Vernal Equinox!

Spring has sprung and I *iz ded*.

Spent the day outside clearing the ornamental gardens and flowerbeds. The weather is gorgeous, but I am wiped. Blisters on my thumbs, feet hurt, and I know tomorrow my arms and back are gonna be giving me what for.

But the flowerbeds are clean! And the daffodils are coming up. And the Lenten roses. And the hellebores from outer space.

I was planning on playing with recipes for dinner tonight, but I don't think I can stand in the kitchen for that long.

It's been absolutely gorgeous here too! I think it got up to around 70-72. I raked the yard, had all the windows open, took a walk. It was *so* good to get some fresh air, see things starting to bud and bloom. This coming week is supposed to be cooler (closer to average temps for late March) but I won't complain - this past week has really been incredible, weather-wise! Glad you guys have shared in all of that.
